Dryside Exteriors

About

One trade, done to the same standard every time

Dryside Exteriors does the exterior envelope and nothing else — siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough and the aluminum work that ties it together. We don't do roofs, windows or decks, and we will tell you honestly when a job belongs to someone else.

That narrowness is deliberate. Most of the houses in this region were built before 1980, which means the wood behind the aluminum is old enough to have gone soft in places, and the only way to know is to look before quoting rather than after. Contractors who do six trades don't get up the ladder first. We do.

What we will not do

  • Quote without getting on a ladder and looking behind the eavestrough.
  • Cap over rotten fascia because it is faster and it will not show for two years.
  • Give you a price that expires at the end of the visit.
  • Take a job we cannot schedule properly just to keep it off a competitor.
  • Sell your contact details. If we cannot help, we will recommend someone by name — and only pass anything on if you have told us we can.

How to check any contractor

Ask for a WSIB clearance certificate and a liability insurance certificate, and ask for the warranty in writing on the quote itself rather than mentioned out loud. Any contractor worth hiring will hand all three over without hesitating. Ask us and you will have them the same day.

We measure, photograph whatever we find behind the old material, and put a fixed price in writing with the warranty on the same page. You keep the photos either way. Free, and no obligation to go ahead.
